Voltando a postar depois de um longo hiato devido a motivos de câncer e falta de ânimo, mas vamos lá com um texto que tava pronto aqui há um tempo à espera de vontade.
O Harsh foi provavelmente a primeira e uma das únicas bandas da Finlândia a tocar um som mais voltado para o power violence. Seu primeiro EP foi lançado em 1996 pela Six Weeks Records marcado por um som rápido e direto, próximo ao fastcore com algumas cadenciadas, lembrando algo como Infest. Por conta da sonoridade da banda manter-se nesse estilo, acredito que seu álbum seguinte foi na coletânea Cream of The Crap 10", de 1997, com Cause For Effect, Epäjärjestys e Contradict, na qual participam com seis faixas.
Em seguida, no split com o Crude B.E., também de 1997, a banda voltou-se mais para o power violence, com som mais complexo, quebrado e arrastado, sem a presença da guitarra, indo mais de encontro com a sonoridade do Man Is The Bastard.
Depois, em 1998, vieram os split com o Senseless Apocalypse do Japão, o 3-way split 10" com Short Hate Temper e Quill e o EP Implants, mantendo a mesma ideia sonora bruta e dispensando a guitarra, coisa que acredito apenas o Man Is The Bastard havia feito no power violence até então.
Ainda tiveram mais rápidas participações em compilações como Bllleeeeaaauuurrrrgghhh! - A Music War EP, de 1998, da Slap a Ham e no tributo ao Cripple Bastards, Falafel Grind, até que chegaram finalmente ao seu primeiro álbum full o CD Reality, de 2000, com 23 músicas do seu já tradicional som baixaria power violence.
Por fim, ainda tiveram em 2004 um split EP com o Control Mechanism, com sons previamente gravados em 2002, fechando sua interessante discografia, mostrando como se pode perfeitamente executar um som rápido e agressivo sem a necessidade de guitarras.
